The Team

Jabber, aka Chris Kenny

Jabber

The youngest of 6 children with 5 older sisters, I have led a cosseted and sheltered life with little or no exposure to the real world. Flunked all of my exams and became a Trainee Buddhist before joining the Army. After 17 years of playing the triangle and collecting money at Watford Market, I am now ready for life’s next great challenge.

I heard about Action Medical Research’s “Touching Tiny Lives” campaign (which funds research into the causes of premature birth and the subsequent inherent problems) whilst my lovely wife was 20 weeks pregnant with our first child Miles (see the SLAGS page) hence there was no way that I could not take part in this fantastic event, and after meeting the great team that work there, I became hooked.

My contribution to the team is limited – I am in fact nothing more than a passenger. I am used by the team to brighten up an otherwise fading evening, by wheeling me out to discuss politics and point my finger a lot. I do not see this as particularly funny, but others appear amused.
