Cake Boy, aka Graham Sibley
Originally from St Albans and one-time racing cyclist with the Verulam Cycling Club I have accepted the passage of time, the aging of limbs and the growing waistline to realise those days will never return, and feel in far more relevant company amongst the Redbourn Postal team.
Now I enjoy touring the lanes of Northants and North Bucks in getting ready for the next assault on the London to Paris, hopefully helping the team keep in a peleton, and advising when things break on their bikes.
Why Cake Boy? Apparently I bear some resemblance to that now disgraced T-Mobile rider Jan Ullrich, and share his love of patisserie and bakery products. I can’t ride like him, and don’t look good in pink either!
Married to Sarah, with two lovely kids in Sam and Beth. Beth is our little miracle girl, which prompted my support of the great work of Action Medical Research in their Touching Tiny Lives campaign to improve the chances of survival of babies born prematurely.
