Nice Butt, aka Tim Miles
Born in Chester, I spoke like a Liverpudlian for 12 years moved to Surrey, tried to change the accent there (kids are cruel) and now having lived in Canada and the USA for 20 odd years,I supposedly sound to some ears as though I'm from many parts of the commonwealth.
I have always loved my sports, played pretty much whatever I could, always was the jock. These days bar a couple of activities I watch the blooming stuff!!
I somehow managed to get my way behind a telephone to earn a living as currency broker, and fooling everyone by trying to sound intelligent. Now that's funny!!!
My adult life has been here in Canada with a brief stint in New York, so I do love sports on both sides of the Atlantic.
This bike trip is about proving something to myself and getting into another sport. The joints and bones are old and don't do what they use to. If all of us can make money for this great charity then I will be very satisfied at the commitment. The boys from Redbourn Postal will be leading the pack, my intention is to keep pace and enjoy the French countryside .... whilst shouting out "are you talking to me or chewing a brick".
